Why has autel chosen not to include obd1 vehicle capability on major makes like toyota lexus nissan honda acura ford and so on it seems they are way behind other tool makers like snapon, otc, launch, autoboss etc there is a bigger market for early model vehicles in the private owned shop market

Just to let you know obd1 live data function is extremely helpful especially when you
dealing with performance ecu's and piggy back ecu's and I can promise you lexus
obd1 is not slower than obd 2, and ford obd1 6+1 works just as good asford obd2

One of the reasons I purchased the Maxisys was it's OBD2 and forward design, not being bogged down with a bunch of OBD1 code and cable interface. I have a couple of OBD1 capable scanners hanging on the wall that I can drag out if something like that rolls in the shop.
